Effects of Quantum Computing

Quantum Computing is an exciting new technology that can potentially change the online world. Normally, such advance in technology should be celebrated, however, it poses a big concerns for many users on the web; security. In the web, there are people that wants your sensitive information for malicious or financial gains. Security has improved over the last decades such as better firewall, protocols, anti-virus protection, and HTTPs. But, it is not guaranteed to protect you, it simply makes it more difficult and requires more labor to achieve it. Code breaking is laborious and time-consuming even if you have a better method.

With Quantum Computing,it would make most security that we use to become arbitrary. There are certain algorithm that only works on quantum computing makes code breaking easy. It does a faster and better job that guessing numbers and breaking the encryption. Whether or not anyone should be afraid of this computing depends on If we also have quantum encryption as well.

This technology is quite scary because technology is advancing faster than people can adapt to it. Honestly, I am not surprise because people will always find a way to use things for evil intent. I am really interested how it will affect industry that relies e-commence or perform online transaction.

Quantum Computing

Quantum Computing is a very interesting idea because this concept has been around for a few years now. It is still a difficult subject to explain because it involves quantum-mechanic where the universe works in an incredibly small scale like electron & particles.

Some countries and organization would be interested in this new computing because of the advantages it holds. Traditional computing usually consist of 1 or 0. With quantum computing, it can BOTH 1 and 0, meaning this new way of computing allows scientists to do things that normally regular computer could not do. It surpasses the limitation of physical computing such as circuitry or hardware problems

Honestly, I like the idea that we can do things much faster now. Hopefully, we could see this new computing enters the general market. Potentially, this technology will change how things are done on the internet.
